In addition to their role at Alapala Academy, Dr. UZEL is an Associate Professor at Hitit University, Department of Food Engineering. Her research focuses on wheat milling technology, dough rheology, wheat chemistry, and quality control and safety of cereals.

With extensive expertise in food engineering and milling technology with 22 years, Dr. UZEL is dedicated to advancing industry knowledge through research, education, and practical training. Uzel’s work bridges the gap between academic research and industry application, contributing significantly to the field of food engineering and flour mill management.
Dr. Uzel’s responsibilities include; designing and updating educational programs in cereal milling technology, overseeing and conducting comprehensive laboratory training sessions, where students and professionals gain hands-on experience with milling equipment and techniques, fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation, and leading research projects that explore new technologies and methods in cereal milling, and building partnerships with industry experts and academic institutions to advance the field.
